More commonly known as ground tests, we implement various component and system testing as the design-build-test cycle demands it. Not every project undergoes the same set of tests - we strive to test what will be beneficial and informative to each unique situation.
We perform ground vibration testing to assure the aeroelastic stability of new and modified aircraft. Structural load testing allows us to emulate flight loads experienced by the aircraft structure. For aircraft with pressurized cockpits or payload areas, we validate leak rate performance and redundant systems necessary to ensure safe operation. Prior to flight, we test our propulsion systems extensively on the ground.
