with Enhanced Capabilities

The CMS 5-Axis Mill

We are excited to announce that we have significantly increased our CNC machining capability with the addition of a second 5-axis gantry mill. Built by CMS, this new machine offers a much larger work envelope:

Housed in a dedicated building, our new facility can handle any and all types of DoD programs.

Scaled will quickly and accurately machine your oversized parts and tools from a variety of materials, including:

• Urethane foams (any density)
• Aluminum
• Composites (carbon fiber, fiberglass, etc.)
• Honeycomb core (Nomex®, Kevlar®, aluminum, etc.)
• Wood
• Etc.

A fast machine needs short turnaround on programming. Our in-house programming team uses CATIA v5 to quickly generate CNC toolpath, and VERICUT ensures we machine it right the first time. With the increased throughput offered by this new machine, Scaled is actively seeking new business for our machining center.
