Our Staff
Here is our last official company photo when
we were 135 strong. We’ve grown quite a bit since then,
with about 250 employees coming from all parts of the country
to build weird airplanes in the Mojave Desert! Why
on earth do we do it? Simply put, Scaled Composites is a
fun, exciting and innovative aerospace company. Management
recognizes that employees who are excited about their work
will be very productive. And productive we are, just look
at our projects pages.
As you can see from the services section, we have a wide
variety of backgrounds. Most of us have been airplane lovers
all our lives and are here for the chance to be involved
in all parts of aircraft work. After work we play at our
hobbies-- designing and building our own airplanes, all
types of watersports, astronomy and RC modeling - just to
name a few.
